I bought this two years ago, when my in-laws were going to drive with us from LA to Grand Canyon. Put it on top of the Sienna, got 6, then 7 people in, with luggage. It holds lots of stuff. I was afraid of hurting fuel economy and swaying in crosswinds, but I usually couldn't tell the difference at all! I got 20 mpg+, and no handling issues! Since then, I've used it to carry camping gear, which kept the dirt out of the car, and stuff stayed dry in there even driving through rain.

Attaching the driver-side mounts is a stretch from the passenger side, but no big deal. Simple wingnuts to attach it, and hinges and locks work well.

I suppose the materials are maybe cheaper than the Thule or Yakima, but it does everything I ask, for 0 vs. 0-0. I'm totally satisfied, and smile whenever I see those other brands on someone's car!

Needed extra room to travel with the kids and dogs. Love our new Rack. You can get so much "stuff" in it, and get it out of the way on a long trip. Was kind of a pain to get on. Had to re-do it when I finally figured out the instructions. Was much easier when I had help. It's completely waterproof. Not only did we take it to Seattle, but also ran through a "no touch" car wash. Not a drop in the Rack.
